Prof. Pearcey explains where the concept of Toxic Masculinity comes from and how it developed historically, and then uses some compelling data to make the case that Christians have a biblically based, empirically supported, healthy alternative. Nancy Pearcey is the author of The Toxic War on Masculinity: How Christianity Reconciles the Sexes, as well as Love Thy Body, The Soul of Science, Saving Leonardo, Finding Truth, and Total Truth. She is a professor and scholar in residence at Houston Christian University. She has been quoted in The New Yorker and Newsweek highlighted as one of the five top women apologists by Christianity Today, and hailed in The Economist as "America's pre-eminent evangelical Protestant female intellectual."

As we approach the midpoint of season 2, this time we tackle the common struggle of contentment. Jack, Grayson, and Blake offer some insight into the struggle, the seriousness of the sin, and how one can learn to be content in the Lord's provision. Jeremiah Burroughs called it a "Rare Jewel"; we call it a "Super Power". Whatever you want to call it, know that it stems from a heart that has been changed by Christ.

After a few episodes of being split up, due to illness, Grayson, Blake, and Jack are back! This time, we tackle the topic/sin of greed. Despite being somewhat culturally acceptable, it is a very deadly sin. We discuss the sin itself, provide some questions for self-evaluation, and provide tips on overcoming this common struggle of the Christian Life. If there is some awkward timing and pauses, we apologize.; we had some intermittent internet issues. It does get much better as the episode goes on :)
